Android 6.0 – Marshmallow set to roll out on October 5th

Huge canadian telecom carriers such as the Telus Mobility, Rogers and many more have hinted at the possible roll out of the new android operating system, android 6.0 marshmallow. At the recent google event which was scheduled to occur on the 29th of September, the tech-giant Google planned to launch its two latest installments in the Nexus franchise along with a new set of Chrome-cast hardware and many more utilities. It won’t be a far-sighted thought to expect the two latest installments to get rolled out with the highly awaited android 6.0 marshmallow!

All the tech giants and the big-time telecom players around the world specifically those in Canada anticipate the big date to be October 5th. This new version of android is all set to support the newest generation Nexus 6 as well as its predecessor, Nexus 5. The telecom giant, Telus, posted some data on its website as it can be seen which hint in a similar direction.

Android M

The analogy to associating the rolling out of the two new latest installments with the new android M can be understood with the fact that in 2014, Google drafted and initiated the release of the then-new Lollipop with two of its widely popular devices, namely Nexus 9 and Nexus 6. Thus, it is only fair on this part to assume that the latest two installments would roll out with the latest android version as well, the version being android M.

Apart from these two, the compatibility of this new operating system would be extending to the recent LG Nexus 5 as well as the Motorola Nexus 6 along with the Asus Nexus 7 and the Nexus 9 devices powered by HTC. This, in turn, implies that the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 10 powered by Samsung won’t be compatible with the new updates.
