Candy Crush Saga!

Candy Crush Saga is basically a match-three puzzle video game which was released in the year of 2012, initially for facebook and subsequently for iOS as well as android. You all must have heard of candy crush in one form or the other, right? Be it from you yourself playing it or from those annoying requests which your friend direct towards you!

This time at TechWhich, we intend to embrace you with a thorough review of this game which has the become the most popular game on facebook and is becoming widely popular on many mobile devices as well. For iOS specifically, we bring this review to you.

Initial offerings

There’s no doubt denying the fact that this game is bound to get you addicted right from the beginning. If you are a an iDevice user who craves a great lot of color-matching, then this is just the application game for you.

Crushing deep

Candy saga!

The gameplay to this game is quite simplistic. All you need to do is swipe two adjacent candies in order to switch them. You need to do that quickly as you have a defined number of moves which you can make in order to score the maximum points. You can score by lining at least five in an L-shape or at least three in a row.

Diving deep in the Saga!

As you keep crushing, other candies keep falling randomly from the screen’s top in order to fill the void. Obviously, this is done in order to confuse the player and make it hard for him or her to go beyond using special super-candies which get formed while you are crushing the candies.

Quite a lot of changes keep on occurring in the game as you need to add ‘jelly’ squares which can only be removed by crushing the candies. The stages take different shapes to from one level to another. This causes the hard-to-crush wings to the side often which increases the difficulty tremendously.

Chilling with the music!

The music is enchanting for most of the time. As the game proceeds, it becomes too loud and well then, it depends upon you if you develop a knack for listening to it or not!

Deep, way deep!

The piano and the triangles are really soothing and put you at ease and your mind at rest while you are playing candy crush.

Beneath the candies

Lying under the sweet thick coating is a stone. You keep looking at that as it sucks the elements out of your wallet. This is where the freemium issues are encountered!

Should you just bang your head?!

life

Ran out of lives!

At the very beginning of the game, a player has five lives. You recover lives at the rate of one life an hour. You need to pay approximately 17 dollars if you wish to get yourself more lives.

Quite straightly put, you get engrossed deeply in the game only to find out that you simply can’t win if you don’t get these extra lives which is what frustrates us the most!

You can win most of the levels and unlock the power upgrades, but it’s just not enough.

Overalls

In its entirety, Candy Crush Saga is a playful game bound to get you glued but as long as you are not willing to pull a penny out of your pocket, it gets really tiring and frustrating to a level when you almost get irritated and unnerved.
