Samsung Galaxy Series has been one of the most popular, best-selling and the most talked about phone series ever launched. This series holds the credit behind the popularity of Samsung, and this series is the real reason why Samsung is among the top competitors in Smartphone segment (in fact, it is giving a tough competition to every Smartphone company because of its vast and varied range). The Galaxy Series has been in existence since June 2009 when Samsung launched its first model of the series GT-I7500. Ever since then, more than 70 phones have been launched by Samsung in the galaxy series, and now the series has been expanded not just to phones but also to tablets, phablets, with the most recent launch being that the of Galaxy Gear Smart watch. 1. Samsung Galaxy also Known As GT I7500:

The first launch in this series was of GT-I7500 which was launched in June 2009. At that time, it was speculated that Android will grab the number two spot in the Smartphone market by 2012 and this phone was assumed to be the pioneer for this achievement.
