- This new entrant will be a successor to Galaxy J1 and would b available in various colors, namely black white and gold.
- The primary highlight of this phone can be it’s Ultra Data Saving mode, of which the company is boasting at great lengths.
- This feature powered by Opera max allows the users to block or then unblock any individual third party applications using their data pack while at the same time, allowing them to save data by enabling data optimization.
- Measuring at 136.5x69x8.4mm, claims made by the company are fascinating in the sense that they claim to save over 50 percent of data which in turn can free up to 10 per cent of RAM. If they deliver it, they definitely deserve a pat on their back!

- This smartphone comes with a 4.7 inch qHD(540X960) pixels screen which has a Super Amoled display.
- Talking of the processors, this one is powered by Exynos 3475 and is integrated with a GB of RAM.
- With 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via. microSD card, this phone has a lot to offer.
Design specifics
- With android lollipop 5.1 by it’s side, this smartphone features the TouchWiz user interface at its top.
- Also, it supports a 5-megapixel rear camera and has the support of LED flash whereas at the front, it has satisfactorily has a 2MP camera.
- Also, this smartphone supports dual sim. The first sim slot supports 4G/LTE and the 4G networks in India but the second sim doesn’t support even the 3G or the 4G/LTE support.
- Quite similarly like J1, this one too supports 4G as well as the LTE brands featuring in India.
- There are other connectivity options too such as 3G, wi-Fi as well as BT. However, the phone doesn’t have an an support or infrared sensor for that matter. The wi-fi standards supported include 802.11 b/g/n.
- The phone has a proximity sensor as well as an accelerometer. However, the phone is devoid of Barometer, Gyroscopic sensor, temperature sensors or magnetometers.
The battery is 2000mAh which is sufficient for a phone which doesn’t consume much power in this range. Also, the battery is removable.
